About Jorge

Meet Jorge, a passionate and approachable dog trainer with a deep love for animals and a strong understanding in canine behavior. After serving in the military and spending time in Japan, Jorge’s appreciation for the natural world only deepened. That passion led him to earn his Veterinary Assistant certification just a year after completing his service. Currently pursuing a degree in Biology at National University, Jorge continues to expand his understanding of animal behavior and the science behind it. As a devoted owner of 3 dogs, two Chow Chow-Husky’s named Zeus and Zelda and a Golden Retriever named Milo, his personal experience with a variety of breeds, extensive training, and on-going education has given him invaluable insight into dog behavior and training. Jorge is all about building strong, lasting relationships between dogs and their humans. His training style is calm, thoughtful, and rooted in mutual trust, making him an excellent guide for anyone looking to deepen their bond with their dog.

Outside of training, Jorge stays active with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and strength training—disciplines that have shaped his approach to life and work. Through these practices, he’s cultivated the same qualities he brings to every training session: patience, consistency, leadership, and a genuine commitment to growth. Whether he’s on the mat, in the gym, or working with dogs, Jorge leads with heart and purpose—and he’s here to help you do the same with your pup.
